5	5	WHEREAS, Four employees from North Loop Elementary School in
6	6	El Paso worked together to save the life of a woman and aid her
7	7	family during a house fire on April 1, 2009; and
8	8	WHEREAS, When a house went up in flames near the school, a
9	9	seven-year-old North Loop student called to the school custodians
10	10	for help; and
11	11	WHEREAS, Thinking quickly and working together, Rafael
12	12	Camacho and Everardo Chacon broke a window and went inside to rescue
13	13	a woman from the burning house; and
14	14	WHEREAS, Meanwhile, Rita Espinoza called 911 and comforted
15	15	the little girl, while Lorena Gonzales assisted other family
16	16	members fleeing the house; and
17	17	WHEREAS, For their bravery and compassion, Mr. Camacho, Mr.
18	18	Chacon, Ms. Espinoza, and Ms. Gonzales have been recognized with
19	19	certificates from the El Paso Fire Department, and they may indeed
20	20	take pride in their swift and selfless action to aid a family in
21	21	need; now, therefore, be it
22	22	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
23	23	Legislature hereby commend Rafael Camacho, Everardo Chacon, Rita
24	24	Espinoza, and Lorena Gonzales for their courageous efforts on April
25	25	1, 2009, and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and,
26	26	be it further
27	27	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
28	28	prepared for the rescuers as an expression of high regard by the
29	29	Texas House of Representatives.
