 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
 recognize Danielle Faulkner of El Paso for her outstanding work as a
 legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Chente
 Quintanilla; and
 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Faulkner has had an
 opportunity to learn more about the legislative process and the
 issues facing the citizens of the Lone Star State, and she has
 brought a high level of enthusiasm, commitment, and care to every
 task; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of Tommy and Yolanda Faulkner, Ms.
 Faulkner is a graduate of Socorro High School, where she was student
 body president and was involved in theater and the National Honor
 Society; she also played the flute for 10 years, and she has
 actively served her community as a volunteer for Invisible Children
 and during numerous voter registration drives and President Obama's
 National Day of Service; this fine young Texan is currently a
 student at The University of Texas at Austin, and she is a
 participant in the Longhorn Scholars program and in University
 Democrats; and
 WHEREAS, With skill, perseverance, and dedication, Ms.
 Faulkner has made invaluable contributions to the State of Texas
 during the current session, and she may indeed look forward to a
 rewarding future; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Danielle Faulkner for her service as a
 legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Chente
 Quintanilla and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
 success and happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Faulkner as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
