R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
honor Phil Lovegren for his outstanding work as legislative
director in the office of State Representative Carol Kent; and
WHEREAS, Over the course of this legislative session, Mr.
Lovegren has brought a high level of dedication, enthusiasm, and
care to every task, from studying legislation to meeting with
constituents to ensuring the proper handling of office matters, and
he is truly deserving of special recognition for his notable
efforts; and
WHEREAS, Phil Lovegren has made invaluable contributions to
Representative Kent's office in his position as legislative
director, and his coworkers are certain that the Lone Star State
will continue to benefit from the accomplishments of this
University of Texas graduate; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Phil Lovegren for his service as
legislative director in the office of State Representative Carol
Kent and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Lovegren as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
