H.R. No. 2281
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Donna Kent has earned a National PTA Life
Achievement Award from the Midway Parent Teacher Association; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1899, the National Life Membership
Award is the highest accolade presented by the PTA; honorees are
recognized for rendering outstanding service to youth; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Kent has demonstrated tremendous dedication to
the welfare of her students and to all the youth of her community,
and she is indeed deserving of her fellow citizens' respect and
gratitude for her notable efforts in behalf of area young people;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Donna Kent on her receipt of a
National PTA Life Membership Award from the Midway Parent Teacher
Association and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success with her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Kent as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
