| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The family and friends of U.S. Army Specialist |

| 6 | 6 | | Joshua Alexander Molina of Houston have suffered an immeasurable |

| 7 | 7 | | loss with his death in Iraq on March 27, 2008, at the age of 20; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Joshua Molina attended Bellaire and Elsik High |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Schools and was a member of the ROTC; after graduation, he fulfilled |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | a longtime ambition to serve his country when he enlisted in the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | army; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Specialist Molina hoped to one day attend college |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | and become an agent with the Border Patrol or FBI; he is remembered |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | for his joyous appreciation of life, his deep affection for his |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | family, and his gift for making people laugh; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Through his unwavering dedication to duty and honor, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Joshua Molina embodied the highest ideals of the United States |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | armed forces, and the blessing of his life will be forever treasured |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | by those who were privileged to share in the warmth of his love and |

| 20 | 20 | | friendship; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of U.S. Army Specialist |

| 23 | 23 | | Joshua Alexander Molina and extend sincere sympathy to the members |

| 24 | 24 | | of his family: to his mother and father, Maria Molina and Josue |
