55 WHEREAS, The family and friends of U.S. Army Specialist
66 Joshua Alexander Molina of Houston have suffered an immeasurable
77 loss with his death in Iraq on March 27, 2008, at the age of 20; and
88 WHEREAS, Joshua Molina attended Bellaire and Elsik High
99 Schools and was a member of the ROTC; after graduation, he fulfilled
1010 a longtime ambition to serve his country when he enlisted in the
1111 army; and
1212 WHEREAS, Specialist Molina hoped to one day attend college
1313 and become an agent with the Border Patrol or FBI; he is remembered
1414 for his joyous appreciation of life, his deep affection for his
1515 family, and his gift for making people laugh; and
1616 WHEREAS, Through his unwavering dedication to duty and honor,
1717 Joshua Molina embodied the highest ideals of the United States
1818 armed forces, and the blessing of his life will be forever treasured
1919 by those who were privileged to share in the warmth of his love and
2020 friendship; now, therefore, be it
2121 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2222 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of U.S. Army Specialist
2323 Joshua Alexander Molina and extend sincere sympathy to the members
2424 of his family: to his mother and father, Maria Molina and Josue
2525 Molina; to his sister, Paola Fredrickson; to his brother, Manuel
2626 Molina; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it

2828 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2929 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
3030 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of U.S. Army
3131 Specialist Joshua Alexander Molina.
