| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The friends and family of U.S. Navy Airman Adrian M. |

| 6 | 6 | | Campos of El Paso suffered an immeasurable loss with the death of |

| 7 | 7 | | this valiant soldier on April 21, 2008, at the age of 22; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Support Squadron, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | attached to the USNS Arctic, Airman Campos died in a |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | non-combat-related incident in Dubai; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Adrian Campos graduated from high school in 2003 and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | joined the navy to see the world; he planned to open an auto shop |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | after completing his military service; beloved by many for his |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | outgoing and caring nature, he was a devoted husband to his wife, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Sylvia, and a proud father of his baby girl, Gaby; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Through his unfaltering devotion to duty, honor, and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | country, Adrian Campos upheld the highest ideals of the United |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | States armed forces, and his fellow citizens owe him a debt of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | gratitude that the passage of time can never diminish; now, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Airman Adrian M. |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Campos and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | his wife, Sylvia Campos; to his daughter, Gaby Campos; to his |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | brother, Carlos Campos; to his sister, Vanessa Valenvuela; and to |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further |

| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
