44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, The friends and family of U.S. Navy Airman Adrian M.
66 Campos of El Paso suffered an immeasurable loss with the death of
77 this valiant soldier on April 21, 2008, at the age of 22; and
88 WHEREAS, Assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Support Squadron,
99 attached to the USNS Arctic, Airman Campos died in a
1010 non-combat-related incident in Dubai; and
1111 WHEREAS, Adrian Campos graduated from high school in 2003 and
1212 joined the navy to see the world; he planned to open an auto shop
1313 after completing his military service; beloved by many for his
1414 outgoing and caring nature, he was a devoted husband to his wife,
1515 Sylvia, and a proud father of his baby girl, Gaby; and
1616 WHEREAS, Through his unfaltering devotion to duty, honor, and
1717 country, Adrian Campos upheld the highest ideals of the United
1818 States armed forces, and his fellow citizens owe him a debt of
1919 gratitude that the passage of time can never diminish; now,
2020 therefore, be it
2121 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2222 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Airman Adrian M.
2323 Campos and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to
2424 his wife, Sylvia Campos; to his daughter, Gaby Campos; to his
2525 brother, Carlos Campos; to his sister, Vanessa Valenvuela; and to
2626 his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
2727 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2828 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
2929 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Adrian M.
