| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Loved ones were deeply saddened by the tragic |

| 6 | 6 | | passing of Keith Calpito of El Paso on March 8, 2009, at the age of |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 35, yet the memory of his rewarding life may offer a measure of |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | comfort in their time of loss; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Keith Calpito was born on June 10, 1973, to Anita |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Calpito and the late Gary Calpito; he treasured his family, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | including his daughter, Ariana, his brother, Kenneth, and his |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | nephew, Eli; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, An employee of Best Wrecker Towing, where he had |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | made a number of good friends, he was also an avid motorcycle |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | enthusiast, and nearly 700 fellow bikers attended his memorial |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | service and followed the funeral procession; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, His many other interests included low-riders and rap |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | music, 4x4 trucks and country music, and tattoos and rock music; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, While his time on this earth was far too brief, Keith |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Calpito lived life to the fullest, and he will long be remembered |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | for his passionate, energetic spirit; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Keith Calpito and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his mother, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Anita; to his daughter, Ariana; to his brother, Kenneth; to his |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | nephew, Eli; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it |
