44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Loved ones were deeply saddened by the tragic
66 passing of Keith Calpito of El Paso on March 8, 2009, at the age of
77 35, yet the memory of his rewarding life may offer a measure of
88 comfort in their time of loss; and
99 WHEREAS, Keith Calpito was born on June 10, 1973, to Anita
1010 Calpito and the late Gary Calpito; he treasured his family,
1111 including his daughter, Ariana, his brother, Kenneth, and his
1212 nephew, Eli; and
1313 WHEREAS, An employee of Best Wrecker Towing, where he had
1414 made a number of good friends, he was also an avid motorcycle
1515 enthusiast, and nearly 700 fellow bikers attended his memorial
1616 service and followed the funeral procession; and
1717 WHEREAS, His many other interests included low-riders and rap
1818 music, 4x4 trucks and country music, and tattoos and rock music; and
1919 WHEREAS, While his time on this earth was far too brief, Keith
2020 Calpito lived life to the fullest, and he will long be remembered
2121 for his passionate, energetic spirit; now, therefore, be it
2222 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2323 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Keith Calpito and
2424 extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his mother,
2525 Anita; to his daughter, Ariana; to his brother, Kenneth; to his
2626 nephew, Eli; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it
2727 further
2828 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2929 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
3030 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Keith
3131 Calpito.
