H.R. No. 2443
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Bob and Beth Braden of China Spring celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on December 6, 2008, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Braden exchanged the vows of matrimony
at the First Baptist Church in Dallas on that memorable day in 1958,
and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other
a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Braden count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their sons, Mark and his wife, Jennifer,
and Michael and his wife, Sandra, and their daughter, Melanie and
her husband, Rick, as well as their beloved grandchildren, with
whom they share the many special occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Bob and Beth Braden have brought
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Beth Braden on their 50th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Braden as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
