H.R. No. 2482
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Ed and Grace Trieb of Quitman celebrated their 67th
wedding anniversary on March 14, 2009, and they may indeed reflect
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Trieb exchanged the vows of matrimony
on that special day in 1942, and over the course of their marriage,
they have found in one another a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Trieb count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their children, Mark Trieb and his wife,
Shauna, John Trieb and his wife, Sandy, and Gail Boles and her
husband, John, with whom they share the many special occasions of
life; and
WHEREAS, For nearly seven decades, Ed and Grace Trieb have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ed and Grace Trieb on their 67th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Trieb as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
