R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Travis Bowden has provided indispensable support to
the office of Representative Diana Maldonado as a legislative
intern; and
WHEREAS, Managing his many responsibilities in an
exceptional manner, Mr. Bowden was both fast on the draw in
answering the phone and a helpful listener to the concerns of
callers; and
WHEREAS, The son of Valerie and Billy Bowden, he was born in
Houston and raised in Round Rock, where he graduated from Stony
Point High School; he is majoring in economics with a minor in
Spanish at The University of Texas at Austin; and
WHEREAS, Travis Bowden has helped to ensure that the
constituents of House District 52 and the citizens of the Lone Star
State have been well represented throughout the session, and he is
indeed deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Travis Bowden for his service in the
office of State Representative Diana Maldonado and extend to him
sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Bowden as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
