44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Linda
66 Gail Wells of Waxahachie, who passed away on March 7, 2009, at the
77 age of 59; and
88 WHEREAS, Born on February 12, 1950, to Walter and Onie Rogers
99 Trammell, the former Linda Trammell graduated from Waxahachie High
1010 School and worked in the insurance field throughout her life,
1111 including five years as an account manager for Ellis County
1212 Insurance Agency in Waxahachie and 35 years at Continental-CNA
1313 Insurance in Dallas; she and her husband, Bobby Wells, were blessed
1414 with a daughter, Misty, and later saw their family grow to include a
1515 granddaughter, Brittany; and
1616 WHEREAS, Ms. Wells was a woman of strong faith whose
1717 enthusiastic participation in activities at South Prong Baptist
1818 Church earned her the affection and friendship of her fellow
1919 congregants; she sang in the quartet and made sure that visitors
2020 felt welcome at worship services and other church functions; and
2121 WHEREAS, Although Linda Wells will be deeply missed,
2222 cherished memories of time spent in her company will forever be
2323 treasured by those who shared in the richness of her life; now,
2424 therefore, be it
2525 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2626 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Linda Gail Wells and
2727 extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
2828 husband, Bobby Wells; to her daughter, Misty Wells; to her
2929 granddaughter, Brittany Wells; to her siblings, Ray Trammell and
3030 his wife, Anne, Winford Trammell and his wife, Ruth, Etta Mae
3131 McBride, Imogene Conder, Faye Browning and her husband, Edward,
3232 Mary Choate, and Melba O'Daniel and her husband, Ernest; to her
3333 brother-in-law, H. L. Huddleston; and to her other relatives and
3434 many friends; and, be it further
3535 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3636 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
3737 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Linda
3838 Wells.
