5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Linda |

6 | 6 | | Gail Wells of Waxahachie, who passed away on March 7, 2009, at the |

8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born on February 12, 1950, to Walter and Onie Rogers |

9 | 9 | | Trammell, the former Linda Trammell graduated from Waxahachie High |
---|
10 | 10 | | School and worked in the insurance field throughout her life, |
---|
11 | 11 | | including five years as an account manager for Ellis County |
---|
12 | 12 | | Insurance Agency in Waxahachie and 35 years at Continental-CNA |
---|
13 | 13 | | Insurance in Dallas; she and her husband, Bobby Wells, were blessed |
---|
14 | 14 | | with a daughter, Misty, and later saw their family grow to include a |
---|
15 | 15 | | granddaughter, Brittany; and |
---|
16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Wells was a woman of strong faith whose |
---|
17 | 17 | | enthusiastic participation in activities at South Prong Baptist |
---|
18 | 18 | | Church earned her the affection and friendship of her fellow |
---|
19 | 19 | | congregants; she sang in the quartet and made sure that visitors |
---|
20 | 20 | | felt welcome at worship services and other church functions; and |
---|
21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Although Linda Wells will be deeply missed, |
---|
22 | 22 | | cherished memories of time spent in her company will forever be |
---|
23 | 23 | | treasured by those who shared in the richness of her life; now, |

24 | 24 | | therefore, be it |

25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Linda Gail Wells and |

27 | 27 | | extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |

28 | 28 | | husband, Bobby Wells; to her daughter, Misty Wells; to her |

29 | 29 | | granddaughter, Brittany Wells; to her siblings, Ray Trammell and |
