| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at |

| 6 | 6 | | the loss of Rhonda Renee Mott of Waxahachie, who passed away on |

| 7 | 7 | | March 17, 2009, at the age of 47; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born on November 5, 1961, to Marvin and Juanita Mott |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | in Dallas, Renee Mott graduated from MacArthur High School in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Irving and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Baylor |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | University; she worked in the health care field throughout her |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | professional life, serving as a psychiatric nurse, a compliance |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | nurse, and a training instructor for medical staff at Presbyterian |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Children's Home; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Mott was a perpetual optimist, an enthusiastic |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | gardener, and an expert player of board games; interested in |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | travel, she felt especially at home in the mountains of Colorado, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and she also took great delight in spending time with her dogs, Shea |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and Hannah; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Renee Mott brought joy into the lives of others with |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | her cheerful and caring spirit, and although she will be deeply |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | missed, her loved ones will forever treasure the opportunity they |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | had to be part of the richness of her life; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Rhonda Renee Mott |

| 26 | 26 | | and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |

| 27 | 27 | | parents, Marvin L. Mott and Juanita Mott; to her brother, Stephen |

| 28 | 28 | | Mott, and his wife, Lisa; to her niece and nephew, Trevor and Lacy |

| 29 | 29 | | Mott; to her aunts and uncles, Jeanne Powell, Arnold Mott and his |
