44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
66 the loss of Rhonda Renee Mott of Waxahachie, who passed away on
77 March 17, 2009, at the age of 47; and
88 WHEREAS, Born on November 5, 1961, to Marvin and Juanita Mott
99 in Dallas, Renee Mott graduated from MacArthur High School in
1010 Irving and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Baylor
1111 University; she worked in the health care field throughout her
1212 professional life, serving as a psychiatric nurse, a compliance
1313 nurse, and a training instructor for medical staff at Presbyterian
1414 Children's Home; and
1515 WHEREAS, Ms. Mott was a perpetual optimist, an enthusiastic
1616 gardener, and an expert player of board games; interested in
1717 travel, she felt especially at home in the mountains of Colorado,
1818 and she also took great delight in spending time with her dogs, Shea
1919 and Hannah; and
2020 WHEREAS, Renee Mott brought joy into the lives of others with
2121 her cheerful and caring spirit, and although she will be deeply
2222 missed, her loved ones will forever treasure the opportunity they
2323 had to be part of the richness of her life; now, therefore, be it
2424 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2525 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Rhonda Renee Mott
2626 and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
2727 parents, Marvin L. Mott and Juanita Mott; to her brother, Stephen
2828 Mott, and his wife, Lisa; to her niece and nephew, Trevor and Lacy
2929 Mott; to her aunts and uncles, Jeanne Powell, Arnold Mott and his
3030 wife, Saundra, Charles Mott and his wife, Yvonne, Georgia Dashiell,
3131 and Janet Lytle; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it
3232 further
3333 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3434 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
3535 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Renee Mott.
