| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A loving family and good friends will long cherish |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | their memories of Harold Lloyd Fox, who passed away on January 16, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 2009, at the age of 87; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Waxahachie on January 10, 1922, to Henry |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Claude and Louise Fox, Mr. Fox enjoyed a lengthy career as a paint |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | contractor, and he was involved in painting most of the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | "gingerbread" houses in the county; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Fox married Monnie Lea McLemore in 1946, and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | they shared six decades together before her death in 2007; the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | couple raised four children, Derrell, Jerry, Debi, and Lloyd, and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | their family later grew to include 12 grandchildren and 19 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Although he will be sorely missed, those fortunate |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | enough to have known Harold Fox will always remember his dedication |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | to his family and the kindness and generosity with which he lived |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | his life; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Harold Lloyd Fox and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | children, Derrell Fox and his wife, Mickey, Jerry Fox and his wife, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Marsha, and Debi Yarborough and her husband, Roger; to his 12 |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and to his other |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | relatives and friends; and, be it further |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
