5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at |

6 | 6 | | the loss of Carol J. Clymore of Waxahachie, who passed away on April |
---|
7 | 7 | | 11, 2009, at the age of 68; and |
---|
8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born on September 18, 1941, to Elbert and Eva Brewer |
---|
9 | 9 | | in Montebello, California, the former Carol Brewer graduated from |
---|
10 | 10 | | Pacific Christian College in 1965; she married Raymond Clymore the |
---|
11 | 11 | | following year and dedicated her energies to raising her family and |
---|
12 | 12 | | serving her church, where she sang in the choir, led women's groups, |
---|
13 | 13 | | and taught Sunday school; the couple were blessed with three |
---|
14 | 14 | | daughters, Laura, Leslie, and Lindsay, and with the passing years, |
---|
15 | 15 | | their family grew to include six grandchildren; and |
---|
16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Clymore and her family moved to Waxahachie in |
---|
17 | 17 | | the 1980s, and she immediately became active at the First Baptist |
---|
18 | 18 | | Church; she was president of the Baptist Women, taught Sunday |
---|
19 | 19 | | school and Bible study, and was involved with the choir; later, she |
---|
20 | 20 | | attended Waxahachie Bible Church and contributed to the |
---|
21 | 21 | | congregation in numerous ways, including by greeting congregants at |
---|
22 | 22 | | the chapel door; Mrs. Clymore also gave back to the community by |
---|
23 | 23 | | working as a major organizer of Waxahachie Mobile Meals; and |
---|
24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Carol Clymore lived a caring and purposeful life, |
---|
25 | 25 | | and her legacy of providing compassionate service to others will |
---|
26 | 26 | | continue to inspire her loved ones and all those who had the good |
---|
27 | 27 | | fortune to know her; now, therefore, be it |
---|
28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
---|
29 | 29 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Carol J. Clymore and |
---|
30 | 30 | | extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
---|
31 | 31 | | husband, Raymond Clymore; to her children, Laura Graham and her |
---|
32 | 32 | | husband, Sean, Leslie Majors and her husband, John, and Lindsay |
---|
33 | 33 | | Marhold and her husband, Scott; to her grandchildren, Whitney, |

34 | 34 | | Taylor, Jordan, Madison, William, and Caroline; and to her other |
