 R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
honor Meredith Meyer for her outstanding work as an intern in the
office of State Representative Debbie Riddle; and
WHEREAS, Close to fellow intern Rianna in height but
decidedly more blonde, Meredith Meyer attacked every task assigned
to her with a cheerful cry of "I live for this stuff!" or "I'm livin'
the dream!", and the fact that she was quite possibly being
sarcastic never kept her from getting the work done; her enthusiasm
for gossip, on the other hand, especially the romantic
entanglements of her fellow interns, was wholly and
 enthusiastically sincere; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Meyer worked as one of the front desk interns,
standing up and sitting down all afternoon to greet sometimes
overwhelming crowds of visitors, and she was unfailingly welcoming
and helpful, no matter how grumpy the visitors might have been; able
to rush in from a test, flustered and out of breath, she instantly
transformed into the perfect coworker, and her positive attitude
 and her energy lifted the spirits of visitors and coworkers alike;
 and
WHEREAS, Meredith Meyer radiated warmth, friendliness, and a
concern for others that made her an invaluable asset to the office
and a joy to work with, and it is most fitting to recognize her for a
job well done; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Meredith Meyer for her service as an
intern in the office of State Representative Debbie Riddle and
extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Meyer as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
