| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to |

| 6 | 6 | | honor Meredith Meyer for her outstanding work as an intern in the |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | office of State Representative Debbie Riddle; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Close to fellow intern Rianna in height but |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | decidedly more blonde, Meredith Meyer attacked every task assigned |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | to her with a cheerful cry of "I live for this stuff!" or "I'm livin' |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the dream!", and the fact that she was quite possibly being |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | sarcastic never kept her from getting the work done; her enthusiasm |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | for gossip, on the other hand, especially the romantic |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | entanglements of her fellow interns, was wholly and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | enthusiastically sincere; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Meyer worked as one of the front desk interns, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | standing up and sitting down all afternoon to greet sometimes |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | overwhelming crowds of visitors, and she was unfailingly welcoming |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and helpful, no matter how grumpy the visitors might have been; able |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | to rush in from a test, flustered and out of breath, she instantly |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | transformed into the perfect coworker, and her positive attitude |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | and her energy lifted the spirits of visitors and coworkers alike; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Meredith Meyer radiated warmth, friendliness, and a |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | concern for others that made her an invaluable asset to the office |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | and a joy to work with, and it is most fitting to recognize her for a |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | job well done; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 29 | 29 | | Legislature hereby commend Meredith Meyer for her service as an |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | intern in the office of State Representative Debbie Riddle and |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
