| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to |

| 6 | 6 | | honor Natalie Myers for her outstanding work as an intern in the |

| 7 | 7 | | office of State Representative Debbie Riddle; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Beloved for her high spirits and boundless energy, |

| 9 | 9 | | Ms. Myers possesses a distinctive DNA strand that actually reads |

| 10 | 10 | | GAGAFUNGAGA, leading to one of her nicknames, "Lady GaGa"; she is |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the living embodiment of Newton's First Law of Motion, in that she |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | is seldom, if ever, motionless, and even a parked Ford Excursion |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | could not keep her in check for very long; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, On those rare occasions when Ms. Myers is still, she |

| 15 | 15 | | is driven by genetic necessity to sing out loud the chorus of the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | last song she heard just before coming to work, no matter the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | consequences; while some revere such musical luminaries as |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Beethoven and Mozart, Ms. Myers harbors a deep love and reverence |

| 19 | 19 | | for the music of Britney Spears, yet no one has the nerve to point |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | out just how funny this is, since she is also a student of fencing |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and can kill you with a sword, even if you also have a sword; and |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Natalie conveys to all who come within her line of |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | sight a beam of friendliness and acceptance that makes you glad you |

| 24 | 24 | | woke up that morning; now that she is making the transition from |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | frenzied college student to frenzied graduate, she will carry her |

| 26 | 26 | | laughter, smiles, and medical-grade optimism with her as she |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | conquers new challenges and charms new coworkers, and it is most |

| 28 | 28 | | fitting to recognize her for a job well done; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 30 | 30 | | Legislature hereby commend Natalie Myers for her service as an |
