5	5	WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
6	6	the loss of Brendon Chase Mooney of Spring, who died on May 11,
7	7	2009, at the age of 22; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Brendon Mooney was born in The Woodlands on October
9	9	7, 1986, to Richard and Joan Mooney; he graduated in 2005 from Klein
10	10	Collins High School, where he was a member of the National Honor
11	11	Society, and he further distinguished himself as a talented athlete
12	12	who played football and hockey and earned a varsity letter in
13	13	wrestling; and
14	14	WHEREAS, A junior at Baylor University, Mr. Mooney was
15	15	studying exercise physiology, and he served as a pledge master of
16	16	the Beta Theta Pi fraternity; and
17	17	WHEREAS, Although his life ended far too soon, Brendon Mooney
18	18	will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who were
19	19	fortunate enough to share in his love and friendship; now,
20	20	therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
22	22	Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Brendon Chase Mooney
23	23	and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
24	24	parents, Richard and Joan Mooney; to his sister, Ashleigh Mooney;
25	25	to his grandmothers, Olla Mooney and Jimmie Oyler; to his uncle, Jim
26	26	Adams; to his cousins, Steve Adams and his wife, Summer, Kristi
27	27	Streit and her husband, Jamie, Katie Streit, Audrey Adams, and Zoe
28	28	Adams; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it
29	29	further
30	30	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
31	31	prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
32	32	Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Brendon
33	33	Chase Mooney.
