44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, During the 81st Legislature, David Puentes has ably
66 served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State
77 Representative Diana Maldonado; and
88 WHEREAS, A Round Rock native, Mr. Puentes graduated from
99 Stony Point High School in 2007, and he is studying political
1010 communication and broadcast journalism at The University of Texas
1111 at Austin; his disciplined approach to his assignments as an intern
1212 and his ability to excel in a broad range of duties proved extremely
1313 helpful to Representative Maldonado's office throughout the 2009
1414 session; and
1515 WHEREAS, Mr. Puentes has contributed to the workings of state
1616 government firsthand; in addition to enhancing his knowledge of the
1717 legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star
1818 State, he has gained valuable work experience in the field of public
1919 service; and
2020 WHEREAS, This dedicated young man has performed his duties as
2121 a legislative intern with skill and determination, and he is indeed
2222 deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
2323 be it
2424 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2525 Legislature hereby commend David Puentes for his service as a
2626 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Diana
2727 Maldonado and extend to him warmest best wishes for great success in
2828 all his future endeavors; and, be it further
2929 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3030 prepared for Mr. Puentes as an expression of high regard by the
3131 Texas House of Representatives.
