R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rebecca Lester has provided indispensable support
to the office of Representative Dan Gattis as a legislative intern;
and
WHEREAS, Equally skilled in handling constituent and
session-related issues, Ms. Lester has managed her many
responsibilities in an exceptional manner, and her commitment to
excellence is notable; and
WHEREAS, A native of Quartz Hill, California, she is majoring
in political science at Southwestern University in Georgetown, and
she hopes to continue her work in government as an intern for a
nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. in the fall; and
WHEREAS, Rebecca Lester has helped to ensure that the
constituents of House District 20 and the citizens of the Lone Star
State have been well represented throughout this session, and she
is indeed deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Rebecca Lester for her service in the
office of State Representative Dan Gattis and extend to her sincere
best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Lester as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
