H.R. No. 2813
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned a
quarter-century, Mark and Rita Greer of Greenville celebrated their
25th wedding anniversary on April 28, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Mark Greer and the former Rita Hill exchanged the
vows of matrimony at the Horton Community Baptist Church on that
special day in 1984, and over the course of their marriage, they
have found in each other a devoted life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Greer count among their blessings a
beloved daughter, Amberly Danielle, with whom they treasure sharing
the many special occasions of life; Mr. Greer works at Green
Drilling in Caddo Mills and Mrs. Greer is employed at Zurn PEX
Plumbing Systems in Commerce; the couple are members of Cross
Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 25 years, Mark and Rita
Greer can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know that
the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more
joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Mark and Rita Greer on the occasion
of their 25th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Greer as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
