| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned half a |

| 6 | 6 | | century, Tony and Peggy DuVall of Longview celebrated their 50th |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | wedding anniversary on January 17, 2009; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. DuVall exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | on that day in 1959, and over the course of their marriage, they |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | have found in each other a devoted life partner; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Mr. DuVall worked as a building contractor and real |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | estate investor before his retirement; a partner in her husband's |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | business, Mrs. DuVall also devoted herself to raising her family |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | when her children were young; together they enjoy spending time |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | outdoors and participating in an antique car club; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Lifelong residents of Longview, Mr. and Mrs. DuVall |

| 17 | 17 | | count among their blessings a fine family that includes their |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | children, Judy Harris and her husband, Brett, Kathy Kelley and her |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | husband, Dan, and Steve DuVall and his wife, Karen, as well as 11 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 50 years, Tony and Peggy |

| 22 | 22 | | DuVall can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know that |

| 23 | 23 | | the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Tony and Peggy DuVall on the |
