| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Marion and Sidney Boyce of Amarillo celebrated their |

| 6 | 6 | | 50th wedding anniversary on February 14, 2009, and they may indeed |

| 7 | 7 | | reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Marion Boyce and the former Sidney Johnston Gressett |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | exchanged the vows of matrimony at Grace Baptist Church in Amarillo |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | in 1959, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | each other a loving life partner; Mr. Boyce is a semiretired cement |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | contractor; Mrs. Boyce works with Jack B. Kelley, Inc., and was |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | previously employed with Amega Industries in Longview; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Boyce count among their blessings a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | fine family that includes their children, Duane Boyce, Johnny |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Boyce, and Rebecca Ovalle and her husband, Marcus, as well as eight |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | grandchildren, Jacklyn, Jake, Aaron, Denai, Miranda, Jessie, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Brandyn, and Toni, and five great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jaycee, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Kason, Eden, and Malachi, with whom they share the many special |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | occasions of life; and |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, For half a century, Marion and Sidney Boyce have |

| 23 | 23 | | brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
