55 WHEREAS, Austin Epps of Salado and Hannah Hammack of Austin
66 have provided indispensable support to the office of State
77 Representative Charles Anderson during the 81st Legislative
88 Session; and
99 WHEREAS, These talented young Texans are participants in the
1010 Austin Community College state government internship program led by
1111 Dr. Edward J. Mullen; the course offers students an opportunity to
1212 acquire firsthand experience in the daily workings of government
1313 and to gain a better understanding of Texas politics; and
1414 WHEREAS, Mr. Epps tracked bills in the Agriculture and
1515 Livestock Committee, while Ms. Hammack was responsible for
1616 monitoring activity in the House Committee on Pensions,
1717 Investments, and Financial Services; and
1818 WHEREAS, By sharing their unique perspectives on issues and
1919 contributing numerous hours of hard work, Austin Epps and Hannah
2020 Hammack have helped to ensure that the constituents of House
2121 District 56 and the citizens of the Lone Star State are well served,
2222 and they are indeed deserving of special recognition; now,
2323 therefore, be it
2424 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2525 Legislature hereby commend Austin Epps and Hannah Hammack for their
2626 contributions to the office of State Representative Charles
2727 Anderson and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued
2828 success and happiness; and, be it further
2929 RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
3030 for Mr. Epps and Ms. Hammack as an expression of high regard by the
3131 Texas House of Representatives.
