R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Minerva Rodriguez may take well-deserved pride in
the outstanding service she rendered to the members of her
community during her 39-year career with the Roma Independent
School District; and
WHEREAS, Admired for her exceptional performance as a migrant
recruiter, this esteemed Texan worked tirelessly to identify
migrant families in the community and to assist them in taking
advantage of the district's educational resources; and
WHEREAS, Through her unwavering commitment to helping
others, Ms. Rodriguez carried forth the Roma ISD mission of
providing a quality education to all area residents, and her
efforts made a positive difference in the lives of countless
families in South Texas; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Minerva Rodriguez for her exemplary
service to the Roma Independent School District and extend to her
sincere best wishes for happiness and success in all her endeavors;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
