5	5	WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
6	6	recognize the dedicated individuals who strive diligently each day
7	7	to keep the State Capitol and its lush grounds in good order for the
8	8	benefit of all who work and visit here; and
9	9	WHEREAS, The housekeeping/grounds and maintenance divisions
10	10	of the State Preservation Board see to the cleanliness of the
11	11	Capitol and the appearance of its beautiful landscaping; in
12	12	addition, they perform necessary repairs and take preventative
13	13	measures to ensure the soundness of the building and the proper
14	14	functioning of its various systems; and
15	15	WHEREAS, Among the outstanding group that takes pride in
16	16	burnishing the grandeur of our State Capitol are Joe Medina,
17	17	housekeeping and grounds manager; Cal Williams, maintenance
18	18	manager; and Lawrence Aros, housekeeping manager; and Cathy Young,
19	19	Maria Rodriguez, Flora Torres, Maria Loredo, Maria Lopez, Quang
20	20	Tran, Barbara Gonzales, Chris Johle, Bob Martinez, Sylvia Daniels,
21	21	Diane Magallanez, Chinh Nguyen, Gamael Vital, Laura Cuellar, Greg
22	22	Taylor, Daniel Longoria, Hector Medrano, Miguel Garcia, Juan
23	23	Enriquez, Brent Dickerson, Blair Smith, Dwight Morgan, David De La
24	24	Rosa, Syd Ennis, Larry Starkes, Sam Saldana, Terry Pyle, John

28	28	service coordinator, and the staff of GCA Services Group; and
29	29	WHEREAS, Bringing to their work the utmost care, enthusiasm,
30	30	and commitment, the State Capitol housekeeping, grounds, and
31	31	maintenance personnel provide a significant public service, and
32	32	their efforts are truly deserving of commendation; now, therefore,
33	33	be it
34	34	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
35	35	Legislature hereby honor those employees of the State Preservation
36	36	Board who maintain the beauty and excellent condition of the State
37	37	Capitol and extend to them sincere appreciation for their
38	38	contributions to the Lone Star State; and, be it further
39	39	RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
40	40	for these employees as an expression of high regard by the Texas
41	41	House of Representatives.
