| 7 | 7 | | Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule 13, |

| 8 | 8 | | Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to |

| 9 | 9 | | resolve the differences on House Bill 2275, relating to creating a |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | task force to develop uniform standards for subdivisions in the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | unincorporated areas of counties near the international border and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | in economically distressed counties, to consider and take action on |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | the following matters: |

| 14 | 14 | | (1) House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(2), is suspended to permit |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the committee to omit text not in disagreement in proposed Section |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 2(a) of the bill to read as follows: |

| 17 | 17 | | (a) The Task Force on Uniform County Subdivision Regulation |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | is composed of 23 members as follows: |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Explanation: The omission of text is necessary because not |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | all members of the task force will be appointed. |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | (2) House Rule 13, Sections 9(a)(1), (2), and (3), are |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | suspended to permit the committee to change and omit text not in |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | disagreement and to add text in proposed Section 2(a)(6) of the bill |

| 26 | 26 | | secretary of state who has expertise in matters affecting colonias; |

| 27 | 27 | | Explanation: The alteration of text is necessary to allow |

| 28 | 28 | | the secretary of state or a designee of the secretary of state to be |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | a member of the task force. |

| 30 | 30 | | (3) House Rule 13, Sections 9(a)(1) and (2), are suspended |

| 31 | 31 | | to permit the committee to change and omit text not in disagreement |

| 32 | 32 | | in proposed Section 2(b) of the bill to read as follows: |
