| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Clarissa Ramon has provided indispensable support |

| 6 | 6 | | to the office of Representative Roberto Alonzo during the 81st |

| 7 | 7 | | Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A participant in the Moreno/Rangel Legislative |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Leadership Program, Ms. Ramon has managed her many daily |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | responsibilities in an exceptional manner, demonstrating a |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | commitment to excellence and the perseverance to overcome any |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | challenge brought before her; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Ramon earned her bachelor's degree in political |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | science from St. Mary's University, where she was active in the Phi |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity and served as a delegate to the Model |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Organization of American States; in addition, her exceptional |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | academic performance earned her membership in Pi Sigma Alpha |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Political Science Honor Society; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has also gained valuable |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | work experience as an intern with the San Antonio District |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Attorney's Office and through her employment as a bank teller and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | lab assistant; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Clarissa Ramon has performed her duties in |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Representative Alonzo's office with skill and dedication, and it is |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | most fitting to take this opportunity to recognize her; now, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | therefore, be it |

| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 28 | 28 | | Legislature hereby commend Clarissa Ramon for her outstanding |
