H.R. No. 2903
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Catherine Virginia Huff is graduating as a member of
the Class of 2009 at Boerne--Samuel V. Champion High School and is
receiving her diploma at the school's commencement ceremony on May
30 at the Alamodome in San Antonio; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her school career, Ms. Huff has dedicated
herself to meeting the highest academic standards, and she plans to
study biology at Baylor University beginning in the fall of 2009;
and
WHEREAS, This admirable young woman possesses many interests
and skills; she has taken part in various equestrian competitions
in the areas of dressage, eventing, and endurance riding, and she
also enjoys other outdoor activities and spending time with her
friends; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of C. Wayne and Melinda Smith Huff,
Catherine Huff has earned the respect and admiration of her
friends, classmates, and family members, and she may reflect
proudly on her many accomplishments as she looks with anticipation
and optimism to the next chapter of her life; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Catherine Virginia Huff on the
occasion of her graduation from Boerne--Samuel V. Champion High
School and extend to her sincere best wishes for success in her
future endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Huff as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
