R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dr. Edward Gabaldon was named superintendent of the
Clint Independent School District on April 23, 2009; and
WHEREAS, A veteran educator with 31 years of experience,
Dr. Gabaldon was chief of staff for El Paso ISD before accepting the
superintendent's position in Clint; he is looking forward to
working closely with school administrators and the school board in
order to further the district's tradition of excellence; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Gabaldon enjoys the love and support of his
wife, Angela, an instructional specialist with Ysleta ISD; the
couple are the proud parents of two sons, Adam and Michael; and
WHEREAS, This dedicated administrator is a notable addition
to the leadership team of Clint ISD, and his guidance is sure to be
of great benefit to area students; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Edward Gabaldon on his
appointment as the superintendent of the Clint Independent School
District and extend to him sincere best wishes for success in his
new position; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Dr. Gabaldon as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
