| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Edward Gabaldon was named superintendent of the |

| 6 | 6 | | Clint Independent School District on April 23, 2009; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, A veteran educator with 31 years of experience, |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Dr. Gabaldon was chief of staff for El Paso ISD before accepting the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | superintendent's position in Clint; he is looking forward to |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | working closely with school administrators and the school board in |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | order to further the district's tradition of excellence; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Gabaldon enjoys the love and support of his |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | wife, Angela, an instructional specialist with Ysleta ISD; the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | couple are the proud parents of two sons, Adam and Michael; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, This dedicated administrator is a notable addition |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | to the leadership team of Clint ISD, and his guidance is sure to be |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | of great benefit to area students; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Edward Gabaldon on his |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | appointment as the superintendent of the Clint Independent School |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | District and extend to him sincere best wishes for success in his |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | new position; and, be it further |
