| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Reverend Dr. Harvey L. Hollmon is celebrating 60 |

| 6 | 6 | | years in the Baptist ministry on September 20, 2009; and |

| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan provides outstanding spiritual |

| 8 | 8 | | leadership to the congregants of Alta Mesa Park Baptist Church in |

| 9 | 9 | | Dallas, where he has been the pastor for a quarter of a century; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Through the decades, Dr. Hollmon has served his |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | congregations with compassion, conviction, and generosity, and his |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | enduring commitment to the ministry and to his community of faith |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | remains a source of inspiration and guidance for numerous Dallas |

| 14 | 14 | | residents; now, therefore, be it |

| 15 | 15 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 16 | 16 | | Legislature hereby congratulate the Reverend Dr. Harvey L. Hollmon |
