5	5	BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State of
6	6	Texas, 81st Legislature, Regular Session, 2009, That House Rule 13,
7	7	Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule 13,
8	8	Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to
9	9	resolve the differences on House Bill 2374 (financial assistance by
10	10	the Texas Water Development Board for the connection of residences
11	11	in economically distressed areas to public water supply and
12	12	sanitary sewer systems) to consider and take action on the
13	13	following matter:
14	14	House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(4), is suspended to permit the
15	15	committee to add text on a matter which is not included in either
16	16	the house or senate version of the bill in SECTION 1 of the bill, in
17	17	added Section 17.9225(c), Water Code, to read as follows:
18	18	If the board determines that a resident to whom assistance has been
19	19	provided is ineligible to receive the assistance, the board may
20	20	seek reimbursement from the resident.
21	21	Explanation: The addition of text is necessary to allow the
22	22	Texas Water Development Board to recover funds provided to
23	23	ineligible recipients of financial assistance.
