| 7 | 7 | | Interscholastic League Academic State Meet in Austin on May 25 and |

| 8 | 8 | | 26, 2009; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The son of Forrest and Kristi Parr, Mr. Parr is |

| 10 | 10 | | currently completing his senior year at Spring Hill; representing |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | his school at the 2009 UIL District Meet, he excelled in competition |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and qualified to advance to state in the Accounting, Number Sense, |

| 13 | 13 | | Calculator Applications, and Mathematics categories; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, To perform at the highest level in statewide |

| 15 | 15 | | academic competition requires not only skill and intellect but also |

| 16 | 16 | | exceptional dedication, and Mr. Parr may reflect with pride on this |

| 17 | 17 | | notable achievement; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby commend Adrian Parr for qualifying for the 2009 |
