H.R. No. 2979
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jeremy Hall of Spring Hill High School in Longview
earned great distinction by qualifying for the 2009 University
Interscholastic League Academic State Meet in Austin on May 25 and
26, 2009; and
WHEREAS, The son of John and Kathy Hall, Mr. Hall is currently
completing his junior year at Spring Hill; representing his school
at the 2009 UIL District Meet, he excelled in competition and
qualified to advance to state in the Accounting category; and
WHEREAS, To perform at the highest level in statewide
academic competition requires not only skill and intellect but also
exceptional dedication, and Mr. Hall may reflect with pride on this
notable achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Jeremy Hall for qualifying for the 2009
UIL Academic State Meet and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success and a bright future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Hall as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
