| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Dan and Julie Sorey, Ms. Sorey is |

| 10 | 10 | | currently completing her junior year at Spring Hill; representing |

| 11 | 11 | | her school at the 2009 UIL District Meet, she excelled in |

| 12 | 12 | | competition and qualified to advance to state in the Accounting |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, To perform at the highest level in statewide |

| 15 | 15 | | academic competition requires not only skill and intellect but also |

| 16 | 16 | | exceptional dedication, and Ms. Sorey may reflect with pride on |

| 17 | 17 | | this notable achievement; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
