| 7 | 7 | | Interscholastic League Academic State Meet in Austin on May 25 and |

|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Chris and Ginger Cerio, Ms. Chipman |

| 10 | 10 | | is currently completing her junior year at Spring Hill; |

| 11 | 11 | | representing her school at the 2009 UIL District Meet, she excelled |

| 12 | 12 | | in competition and qualified to advance to state in the Literary |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Criticism category; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, To perform at the highest level in statewide |

| 15 | 15 | | academic competition requires not only skill and intellect but also |

| 16 | 16 | | exceptional dedication, and Ms. Chipman may reflect with pride on |

| 17 | 17 | | this notable achievement; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby commend Ariel Chipman for qualifying for the |
