R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The members of the Varsity Treble Choir at
Tuloso-Midway Middle School in Corpus Christi have won an
impressive victory at the Seasons Music Festival in Dallas; and
WHEREAS, These gifted young singers won Best in Class in the
CC Division, receiving the highest possible score from all three
judges; and
WHEREAS, Led by choir director Michelle Christner, the TMMS
choirs have performed at a number of competitions across the state,
winning great distinction for themselves and their school; and
WHEREAS, The hard work and talent of the Tuloso-Midway Middle
School Varsity Treble Choir have resulted in this noteworthy honor,
and its members may indeed take great pride in their
accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the Tuloso-Midway Middle School
Varsity Treble Choir for winning Best in Class at the Seasons Music
Festival and extend to its members sincere best wishes for
continued success and a bright future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the choir as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
