5	5	WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives wishes to honor
6	6	the employees in the House Business Office for their
7	7	behind-the-scenes work in support of house members and their
8	8	staffs; and
9	9	WHEREAS, Executive director and manager of accounting Steve
10	10	Adrian has capably overseen the business office's many essential
11	11	services, and his leadership in these dual roles has been an
12	12	important asset during this legislative session; and
13	13	WHEREAS, In his post as accounting manager, Mr. Adrian has
14	14	been assisted by Gerri Foster, Sharon McNabb, Donna Jeanne McNees,
15	15	Veronica Morales, Scott Siebert, and Donna Wessner; and
16	16	WHEREAS, The payroll and personnel manager, Janice Vastine,
17	17	has been assisted by Virginia Bostic, Mary Lou Cooper, Maryalice
18	18	Cortinas, Erika Lacey, Barbara Mokry, Suzette Motal, and Diana
19	19	Rodriguez; and
20	20	WHEREAS, The photography department includes manager Monti
21	21	Patterson, Ted Albracht, Megan Cooney, Leighton Dancy, Brian Diggs,
22	22	Leisha Dowers, and Spencer Millsap; and
23	23	WHEREAS, The demanding job of dealing with the voluminous
24	24	mail generated during the legislative session has been accomplished
25	25	by postmaster Finley Vernon Green and post office employees Steve
26	26	Bullerman, Irene Constancio, Richard Fernandez, Starlisha
27	27	McWilliams, Michael Rodriguez, and Mark Westbrook; and
28	28	WHEREAS, Property department staff members Jesse Casarez,
29	29	Kenneth Fretwell, Raymond Guerrero, Bobby Jones, Natividad Mendez,
30	30	Patricia Mills, Betty Shuvalov, and Kelly Simmons have worked
31	31	diligently to meet the inventory requirements of members and their
32	32	staffs; and
33	33	WHEREAS, Under the leadership of Dean Howard, the purchasing
34	34	and supply department, which also employs John Alvarado, Lidia
35	35	Castillo, Gary Richter, and William Travis, has handled the various
36	36	needs of the representatives expeditiously; and
37	37	WHEREAS, The reproduction department includes manager Scott
38	38	Williams, Gerard Caballero, David Cavazos, Clayton Colwell, Guy
39	39	Desrochers, Emily Eisenberg, Deborah Hayes, Cindi Henry, Katherine
40	40	Nesbitt, Tom Ruedas, Hipolito Sarabia, Fred Alexander
41	41	Schattenberg, Bonnie Simpson, Robert Soto, Pat St. George, Jimmy
42	42	Starr, David Thompson, Joe Torres, Jr., and Sue Watson; and
43	43	WHEREAS, The special services department is composed of
44	44	Judith Arguello, Claude Dove, Maria Julia Hernandez, Miguel Osorio,
45	45	Gabriel Reyes, Oscar Rodriguez, Valerie Salazer, Sharee Starks, and
46	46	Edwina Ybarra; and
47	47	WHEREAS, The video/audio department includes Kai Ferguson,
48	48	Bonnie Hord Gillespie, George Hewitt, Robert Joe Igo, Norman
49	49	Lieder, Shawn Lloyd, Abby Pettinos, Homer Robbins, Scott Sanders,
50	50	and Suzanne Schreve; and
51	51	WHEREAS, Each of these individuals has put in long hours,
52	52	going above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions, and their
53	53	service to the members of this chamber and to the State of Texas is
54	54	to be commended; now, therefore, be it
55	55	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
56	56	Legislature hereby honor the employees of the House Business Office
57	57	and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
58	58	further
59	59	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
60	60	prepared for Mr. Adrian and the business office staff as an
61	61	expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
