R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, On behalf of the citizens of El Paso, Dusty Henson
presented the Office of the Speaker of the House with an exquisite
mirror that is now the property of the State of Texas; and
WHEREAS, A successful entrepreneur, Mr. Henson owns and
operates El Paso Saddleblanket Company with his wife, Bonnie; the
couple have established weaving operations in Central America and
have traveled the globe to find products for their thriving
business, exploring wares in China, Australia, India, Morocco, the
Philippines, and South America; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Henson offered this unique and creative piece of
art to the Office of the Speaker so that it may serve as a tangible
symbol of El Paso's rich culture, and he is most deserving of
special recognition for his enduring contribution to the Lone Star
State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby honor Dusty Henson for his donation of a
beautiful mirror to the State of Texas and extend to him sincere
best wishes for continued success in all of his endeavors; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Henson as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
