R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mitzi Long makes outstanding contributions to her
fellow Texans through her exceptional work as district director in
the office of State Representative Vicki Truitt; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Long is an essential member of Representative
Truitt's staff; serving on the "front lines" in the district
office, she puts her heart into the task of assisting constituents
and goes above and beyond the call of duty to meet their needs; in
addition, she attends numerous events on the representative's
behalf, and she also finds the time and energy to be an exceptional
wife and mother; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Long performs her duties as district director
with unfailing skill and dedication, and Representative Truitt is
personally grateful for her commitment, professionalism, teamwork,
and valuable support; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Mitzi Long for her service as the
district director in the office of State Representative Vicki
Truitt and extend to her warmest best wishes for continued success;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Long as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
