R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
honor Merita Zoga for her outstanding service as clerk for the House
Committee on Pensions, Investments, and Financial Services and for
its chair, Representative Vicki Truitt; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Zoga was instrumental in coordinating the smooth
operation of the committee, and she consistently provided the chair
and the committee's members with expert support; and
WHEREAS, With unfailing dedication, Ms. Zoga has worked
arduously and over long hours throughout the session; she has made
important contributions to the legislative process, and
Representative Truitt is personally grateful for her commitment,
professionalism, teamwork, and valuable assistance; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Merita Zoga for her service as clerk of
the House Committee on Pensions, Investments, and Financial
Services and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Zoga as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
