R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dan Sutherland ably serves his fellow Texans as
legislative director for State Representative Vicki Truitt; and
WHEREAS, Now completing his third session as a member of her
staff, Mr. Sutherland is respected for the expertise and dedication
that he brings to his position; his work in advancing
Representative Truitt's legislative agenda is a key part of the
effective representation that she provides to her constituents, and
his colleagues greatly appreciate the long hours that he devotes to
his job; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Sutherland performs his duties as the
legislative director with keen insight, close attention to detail,
and an impressive mastery of the legislative process, and
Representative Truitt is personally grateful for his commitment,
professionalism, teamwork, and valuable assistance; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Dan Sutherland for his outstanding
service as legislative director for the office of State
Representative Vicki Truitt and extend to him warmest best wishes
for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Sutherland as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
