| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | and shared experiences, and the Reverend Dr. Robert H. Crilley and |

| 7 | 7 | | Virginia Ann Crilley of Waco are celebrating this joyous milestone |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | in their marriage on July 11, 2009; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Robert Crilley and the former Virginia Ann Ruffin |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | met at Princeton Seminary, where they were both studying for the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | ministry; they were joined in matrimony in 1959 at Princeton |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | University Chapel, and through the years, they have been blessed |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | with a treasured family that includes three children and seven |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Since exchanging their vows, the couple have served |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | as a source of inspiration and faith to all who know them, and they |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | have made a positive difference in many lives; respected members of |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | their community, they have resided in Waco for 20 years; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Crilley have enjoyed half a century of |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature hereby congratulate the Reverend Dr. Robert H. Crilley |
