5	5	WHEREAS, Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego was born on October 7,
6	6	2004, and is the only son of Representative Pete P. Gallego and his
7	7	wife, Mara Elena Ramn, General Counsel for the office of Court
8	8	Administration; and
9	9	WHEREAS, Since his birth, Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego has
10	10	regularly attended sessions of the Texas Legislature as a guest of
11	11	his father and occasionally participated inadvertently in the
12	12	debates on the house floor; and
13	13	WHEREAS, Through his father, Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego has
14	14	had access to the house floor longer than 57 current members of the
15	15	Texas House of Representatives; and
16	16	WHEREAS, Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego has developed many
17	17	close relationships with members of the Texas Legislature,
18	18	including Representative Rafal Ancha, Representative Jessica
19	19	Farrar, Representative Kelly Hancock, Representative Patricia
20	20	Harless, Representative Ana Hernandez, Representative Scott
21	21	Hochberg, Representative Terri Hodge, Representative Edmund
22	22	Kuempel, Representative Eddie Lucio, Representative Armando
23	23	Martinez, Representative Tommy Merritt, Representative Paula
24	24	Pierson, and Representative Tara Rios Ybarra; and
25	25	WHEREAS, Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego's outgoing
26	26	personality, inquisitive nature, unpredictable antics, and easy
27	27	smile serve to constantly remind members of the Texas House of
28	28	Representatives of the important things in life; and
29	29	WHEREAS, Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego's presence on the house
30	30	floor has provided entertainment and promoted a more congenial and
31	31	friendly environment among the members; now, therefore, be it
32	32	RESOLVED, That Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego be recognized as
33	33	an "unofficial" mascot of the Texas House of Representatives for
34	34	his work on the house floor during the 81st Session; and, be it
35	35	further
36	36	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
37	37	Legislature hereby commend Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego and extend
38	38	its best wishes to him as he nears his fifth birthday; and, be it
39	39	further
40	40	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
41	41	Legislature extend its best wishes to Nicols Miguel Ramn Gallego
42	42	in all of his future endeavors, including education, and public
43	43	service in whatever form, and as a potential future candidate for
44	44	office; and, be it further
45	45	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
46	46	prepared for Nicols as an expression of high regard by the Texas
47	47	House of Representatives.
