| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Reed Hilary Ellis Johnson celebrated a significant |

| 7 | 7 | | milestone in his life on May 29, 2009, when he graduated from |

| 8 | 8 | | Westlake High School in Austin; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A member of the football team for three years, Mr. |

| 10 | 10 | | Johnson was named the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Athlete of |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the Year in 2008; he plans to pursue a degree in business at the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | University of Arizona; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Johnson enjoys the love and support of his |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | parents, Gordon and Pam Johnson, and his grandmothers, Judy Johnson |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and Joyce Watson; moreover, the accomplishments of his grandfather, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the late Robert E. Johnson, Sr., or "Big Daddy," have served as an |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | inspiration; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Reed Johnson is an outstanding young Texan, and it |

| 19 | 19 | | is a pleasure to recognize him as he prepares to embark on an |

| 20 | 20 | | exciting new chapter in his life; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Reed Hilary Ellis Johnson on his |

| 23 | 23 | | graduation from Westlake High School and extend to him sincere best |
