| 10 | 10 | | hard-fought sets against the Lady Lions of Brownwood High School |

| 11 | 11 | | and brought a triumphant end to a spectacular season in which the |

| 12 | 12 | | team notched 40 wins and just 5 losses; Lovejoy's achievement was |

| 13 | 13 | | all the more impressive given that there were no seniors on the |

| 14 | 14 | | squad; moreover, the school is a relative newcomer to volleyball, |

| 15 | 15 | | having competed at the varsity level for just two seasons; and |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Several Lovejoy players received individual |

| 17 | 17 | | accolades for their exceptional play in 2008, with Natalie Puckett |

| 18 | 18 | | being named to the all-area team and Andie Malloy, Lauren McDaniel, |

| 19 | 19 | | Courtney Ray, Kate Turner, and Tyler Bradsher being selected for |

| 20 | 20 | | the 13-3A all-district team; in addition, Ms. Puckett was named the |

| 21 | 21 | | district most valuable player while Ms. Turner and Ms. Bradsher |
