| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, The Best Companies to Work for in Texas program is a |

| 8 | 8 | | collaborative effort of Texas Monthly magazine, the Texas |

| 9 | 9 | | Association of Business, the Texas State Council of the Society for |

| 10 | 10 | | Human Resource Management, and the Best Companies Group; each of |

| 11 | 11 | | the nominated businesses is evaluated based on workplace policies, |

| 12 | 12 | | practices, and demographics, as well as an employee survey, and the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | process results in a list of 100 companies that benefit the state's |
