| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Leadership Mid Valley is an exceptional program that |

| 10 | 10 | | skills and increase their knowledge of vital public issues; and |

| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Classes inspire the spirit of activism and provide a |

| 12 | 12 | | diverse membership with networking opportunities and instruction |

| 13 | 13 | | from knowledgeable figures who encourage students to acquaint |

| 14 | 14 | | themselves with community needs and problems while evaluating |
|---|

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, This year's Leadership Mid Valley class includes |

| 18 | 18 | | Chamblin, Priscilla Castaneda, Rolando Pedraza, Allison |

| 19 | 19 | | Summersett, Mari Aviles, and Vicky de la Garza; and |

| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Endeavoring to foster a more informed and involved |

| 21 | 21 | | citizenry and to develop new leaders in South Texas, the program is |

| 22 | 22 | | helping to build a brighter and more promising future for the Lone |
