R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love
and shared experiences, and Warren and Juanita Attaway of Yantis
celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on January 12,
2009; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Attaway were joined in matrimony in
1949 at a ceremony held in Yantis; through the years, they have been
blessed with a treasured family that includes three children and
their spouses, Beverly and Robert Page, Michael and Pegi Attaway,
and Wesley and Christi Attaway, as well as 10 grandchildren and 8
great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, This devoted couple have enjoyed six decades of
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Warren and Juanita Attaway on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Attaway as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
